Merlyn “Lynn” Jarvis, PhD, L.C.S.W., LCS 11848
Dr. Lynn Jarvis has been the driving force and owner of the Center for 27 years.
Lynn has been on the LCF Chamber of Commerce, done teen parenting classes at the Y.M.C.A., and given seminars to local community groups. Her talks to businesses and churches on a variety of issues (relationship building, team building, stress, and depression) have enriched the lives of many.
Lynn's credentials include a Ph. D. in clinical psychology, a master's degree from the University of Southern California and bachelor's degrees in psychology and theology. Her focus is on building relationships, parenting, child and adolescent issues, women's issues and A.D.D. evaluation.
For many years, Lynn has studied under Dr. Daniel Amen to assess A.D. H.D. evaluations and treatment. She truly believes making people's lives healthier supports and builds the whole community.
David Jarvis, PhD, FPPR, PSY 9529
David Jarvis grew up the son of a Presbyterian minister. He went to college at Whitworth College (sister school to Westmont College). He received his MA in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1981, and his PhD in clinical psychology from Fuller in 1985. He practices in Glendale and also has a practice in Brea with Henslin and Associates.
Since being licensed in 1986, David has been in private practice. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety and stress problems, relationship problems, and dealing with compulsive disorders such as substance abuse and codependency. He also specializes in ADHD Evaluations from the Amen practice model. He especially enjoys helping couples develop happier, healthier relationships.
Judy Ingoldsby, M.F.T., MFC 24964
Judy Ingoldsby, a graduate of UCLA and holding a MA from Pepperdine University, is an M.F.T. and works with Lynn. Judy is an E.M.D.R. trained clinician, and deals with trauma resolution for adults. She also does relational counseling as well as hypnotherapy.
Rhea Harris-Junge, M.F.C., MFC 28461
Rhea Harris-Junge has been in practice since 1991. She holds a master degree with Phillips Graduate Institute and is a trauma specialist. Rhea has long-term training and experience with eating disorders and is an E.M.D.R. practitioner.
